Who We Are

Kisakye Olivia
Development Director

Olivia runs and directs all organizational operations in Uganda. Additionally, she advises and guides the organization as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors. She is also responsible for proper site selection, and maintains borehole oversight committees in all of communities we have drilled a well in. Olivia is a trained accountant and utilizes her skills to guide FoundRising in compliance and financial accountability. Olivia oversees the growth and strategy of FoundRising and is critical to its success.

Welukwagana David
Field Engineer

David works on the technical side of the organization as a Field Engineer. His responsibilities include material and equipment procurement, site selection and surveying. David also monitors all drilling activities and ensures compliance to our standards of clean water and site clearance. David is a trained electrical engineer and uses his technical intelligence to guide FoundRising’s projects to successful completion. David’s skillsets are critical to the success of this organization.

Ayebale Ared
Lead Well & Water Engineer

Ared is the Lead Well & Water Engineer for FoundRising. Ared has a significant amount of experience in drilling borehole in Eastern Africa. He is responsible for coordination, management, and oversight of all drilling activities. Ared guides and advises the organization on best practices and compliance of all drilling activities.
